Stress Management Workshop 2

Join Natalie at the Glenroy Community Hub for a 2-3 hour workshop designed to enhance participants’ ability to manage challenges.

What You Will Gain From This Workshop:

  • What is Stress? what is Chronic Stress?
  • How It Affects the body, mind and spirit?
  • How Stress Management can assist?
  • How emotion regulation can be applied (workshop 1)
  • Listening to the body and discussing tools/strategies?
  • Learn and Create a list of tools to help with stress?
  • How choosing you is self-care?

Signs and symptoms of Stress may include the following:

  • feeling overwhelmed or unable to cope
  • feeling ‘on edge’ or unable to stop worrying
  • changes in sleep patterns, feeling exhausted
  • changes in appetite
  • physical reactions such as headaches, muscle tension, upset stomach
  • difficulty concentrating
  • changes in mood, irritability, or anger
  • withdrawal from friends and family
    reliance on alcohol or other substances to cope
  • thoughts of self-harm or suicide

Emotion Regulation Workshop 1

Join Natalie at the Glenroy Community Hub for a 2 hour workshop learning
about and gaining control over your own emotional state for better health.

What You Will Gain From This Workshop:

  • Learn what is Emotional Regulation?
  • Discover the significance of maintaining a balanced emotional regulation.
  • Explore tools and strategies to establish a new routine for improved self-care.
  • Evaluate what methods are effective.
  • Grasp the impact emotional regulation can have on the body and mind.

Signs and symptoms of emotional dysregulation may include the following:

  • being easily overwhelmed
  • feeling overly emotional
  • crying easily or feeling upset for “no reason”
  • frequent mood shifts
  • impulsivity
  • finding it hard to deal with stress
  • perfectionism
  • angry outbursts/ high levels of anxiety
  • depression/ high levels of shame
  • substance misuse/ relationship conflict
  • feeling isolated / experienincg lack of sleep
  • experiencing brain fog, fatigue and memory issues
